Canadian Recall on Trader Joe’s Quinoa Cowboy Veggie Burgers

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning Vancouver, British Columbia consumers to check their freezers for Trader Joe’s-brand Quinoa Cowboy Veggie Burgers. The veggie burgers, manufactured by Transilvania Trading have been recalled from retailers due to  potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes bacteria.

The CFIA is warning veggie burger lovers to refrain from eating products fitting this description:

Trader Joe’s Quinoa Cowboy Veggie Burgers, sold in 12-ounce or 340-gram packages, marked with best by dates ranging from 01/28/2018 to 04/20/2018, and UPC: 0053 2761

The potentially contaminated veggie burgers were sold at a Vancouver, BC Trader Joe’s, once located at 2348 West 4th Avenue.
