Guests flying with Virgin Atlantic will not only have the opportunity to enjoy delicious beverages on-flight, they’ll also be able to enjoy the concoctions alongside Virgin founder Richard Branson. Well, sort of. According to a new press release, the popular airline is celebrating their new in-flight bar with ice cubes shaped in the form of Richard Branson’s head.
The telegraph reports that the ice cubes “were built to scale, using the exact measurements of the Virgin head’s head.” Meanwhile, Chief executive of Virgin Airlines, Steve Ridgeway, explains the idea behind dressing up the drinks with the creepy cubes:
“While Richard would love to be able to sit and enjoy a drink with all of our passengers, his schedule means that it simply isn’t possible. Now he is able to join our guests ‘in spirit.”
Pounding back a few cocktails, then looking down to find a head floating in your drink might be a little too much for some people. Just saying.
