Stamps, Mount Rushmore, the one-dollar bill… now the Chicken McNugget. Yes, George Washington’s face has conquered them all!
Perhaps the most valuable piece of fast-food in history recently sold on eBay for a staggering $8,100 US dollars. A McDonalds Chicken McNugget that resembled US President George Washington was stored for three years by Rebekah Speight of Dakota City, Nebraska before being sold on an eBay auction this week. eBay officials had temporarily removed the auction last month due to the fact that the auction violated their “expired food” policies. I guess we now know why such policies exist!
You know… sometimes it seems that some people have way too much money! On a positive note, Speight says that she plans on spending her proceeds from the auction to send 50 children to a summer camp in Sioux City, Nebraska.
