Coming back for its third season, Worst Cooks In America looks to win our hearts once again with hopeless home cooks. Hosted by Anne Burrell, this season her competitor is Bobby Flay. The season aired in the US in February but we’ll be providing episode recaps and spoilers for our Canadian readers throughout the season.
For those of you who missed the first two seasons, each team selects eight recruits and teaches them classic cooking techniques. One person from each team goes home each week and the final two recruits battle it out to please three food critics. The food critics are told that Burrell and Flay will be cooking the meal but in actuality a switcheroo happens. The recruits prepare a three-course meal, trying to trick these critics into thinking that a professional chef made them.
Anne Burrell published a special cookbook designed to help struggling at-home cooks. Called “Cook Like a Rock Star”, the recipes found in the book have all the spunk and personality of the chef herself.
