A raw, stuffed chicken product produced by South San Francisco company Antonelli’s and Sons is being recalled this week due to undeclared allergens and misbranding.
The 3534 pounds of chicken was distributed to retail establishments in the following areas: Arizona, California, Oregon and Washington. The products were packaged between June 1, 2012 and June 11, 1012. Each product recalled bears the establishment number “P-22018″ inside the USDA’s markof inspection. Despite there being no label to indicate otherwise, the items may contain the following undeclared ingredients: millk, soy, monosodium glutamate.
According to the press release, the specific product in the recall is “TRADER JOE’S CRANBERRY APPLE STUFFED CHICKEN BREAST, with a Use By date of 06/13/12 through 06/23/12 located on a sticker in the top right corner of the package.”
