Starbucks is giving you a reason to celebrate! The popular coffee company is celebrating its 25th anniversary in Canada and they want you join in the fun. In honor of 25 successful years of business, Starbucks will be handing out a free cup of joe between the hours of opening and 11am tomorrow (June 12, 2012) in locations all across Canada.
The promotion is available only at participating locations, so you might want to call ahead to your local Starbucks before making your rounds. It’s also only valid for one tall coffee per customer and is only available in Canada.
In addition to dishing out free coffee to its loyal customers, Starbucks is also donating $25,000 towards the City of Vancouver’s efforts to become the Greenest City in the world by 2020.
“Starbucks has been a supporter of many local organizations in Vancouver that engage youth and help build community,” Vancouver Deputy Mayor Tang said this week. “I am pleased that Starbucks is generously donating $25,000 and collaborating with CityStudio, the Vancouver Foundation and the City of Vancouver on our Greenest City initiatives to better connect people and neighbourhoods.”
Starbucks currently has over 17,000 stores in over 59 countries across the globe.
Will you be heading to Starbucks for a 25 cent coffee tomorrow morning?
