Meatball Recall 2012 Update: Complete Product List

Hannaford Supermarkets is making customers aware of a recall issued by Buona Vita In, a New Jersey based company who is recalling several meatball products due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

The three products sold specifically through deli are Homestyle Meatballs with Sauce, sold by the pound; Meatball Panini – cold, UPC # 941260723096; and Meatball Panini – hot, UPC # 94126072102. If you’ve purchased any of the products listed above, you can return them to Hannaford for a full refund. It is highly recommended that you do not eat the products.

Hannaford supermarkets operates 181 stores, all located in the Northeast US. Stores can be found in Maine, New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont.
