If you enjoy McDonalds coffee, your morning java run just got a little bit better! From now until March 3, 2013, the popular fast food giant is offering customers a free small coffee anytime of the day.
It’s no coincidence that this deal coincides with the kick-off of Tim Horton’s Roll Up the Rim 2013 promotion. McDonald’s free week of coffee is a great way to keep their customers coming back despite Roll Up the Rim season.
It appears that this deal is only available in Canada, not in US. The actual rules of the promotion vary from location to location. Some McDonalds locations will let you get as many small coffees as you want for free (especially in the drive-thru) while others keep the promotion to one per person. Also, most locations will allow you to upgrade to a medium and only pay something like 25 cents while others only allow you to get a small coffee (and charge you full price for a medium, which makes no sense at all). That happened to me last time they held this deal. If I purchased a small (which is way too small for my morning coffee fix) I would get it for free but, the next day when I ordered a medium, I had to pay the full price. So you might want to ask your server before ordering.
Will you be hitting up your local McDonalds for a free coffee this week?
