Tonight was, by far, the most intense episode of Masterchef 2012 USA so far this season. It started out with a full-course meal competition between the guys and the girls. Becky and Christine were up against Josh and Frank in an effort to impress Gordon, the other judges and special judges who were flown in from across the world specifically for this competition.
Christine and Becky were happy to be working together but Josh and Frank couldn’t say the same. Josh was still upset that Frank promised to save him but didn’t, which meant they were offbeat from the beginning of the competition.
At the end of the competition, both members of the winning team would be safe and would automatically advance to the final 3. The winning team, after deliberation from the judges, was Christine and Becky. Both ladies will be advancing to the final three.
After that competition ended, there would be one “pressure test” competition between Josh and Frank. The two players would have to make three different souffles in 60 minutes. The winner would advance with the ladies to the final three and the loser would be sent home.
At the end of the competition, the winner was announced.
The person eliminated tonight was Frank.
