The mango recall responsible for 22 salmonella-related illnesses in Canada has expanded even further today to include store-made fruit salads and yogurts sold in Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Sunterra Market are urging consumers not to eat the store-made fruit cups, yogurts and salads below because they may be contaminated with salmonella braenderup.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with this specific recall, however the CFIA is monitoring the situation closely due to the other reports of sickness in Canada.

These items were sold from one Sunterra market only, located at Lendrum Shopping Centre 5728- 111 Street Edmonton, AB.

Symptoms of salmonella poisoning include high fever, severe headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. It is particularly dangerous in children, elderly individuals and those with weakened immune systems.
