Barbie Marshall has been a controversial contestant on Hell’s Kitchen 2012 Season 10. At the start of this season she was immediately targeted by the Red Team as the scapegoat of their problems. In the first few episodes, all the chefs had difficulty cooking scallops. Barbie had more trouble than most and the failure of her team was placed on her shoulders. Gordon Ramsay saw through to her talent and refused to eliminate her. Barbie has a different style of arguing that the other contestants hate. She is quiet and brooding, but she always gets the work done. Barbie has shown herself as a very strong contestant and she has earned her place in the final four.
Barbie has had a hard culinary career. When her husband was murdered in front of their children, she got out of the business. It wasn’t until her children dared her to follow her dreams that Barbie went back to cooking again. The chefs on Hell’s Kitchen have bullied Barbie on her lack of experience, but she has proved them all wrong.
