This episode of Hell’s Kitchen 2012 was the first part of two finale episodes. The beginning of the episode had the second part of an elimination. Last episode had Barbie Marshall heading home, but the show ended before we heard the second person. We learnt this episode that Dana Cohen was eliminated too. The final two chefs were Justin Antiorio and Christina Wilson.
The challenge this week was a unique dinner service. Christina and Justin had a night to come up with their menues. As they were in their apartments, Gordon called up and asked the chefs to go meet with him. The chefs were very anxious, as any problems this late could mean trouble.
Gordon Ramsay informed them that they would going over the menu with his sous chefs poolside in Las Vegas. They had a day of pampering and were given a special gift from Gordon. He gave each of them white chefs jackets, showing their transition from trainee to chef. Justin and Christina also had the chance to eat lunch with their families.
The chefs and their families went to a magic show that night. Penn and Teller came out and brought Gordon Ramsay in with their act. Gordon announced that Christina and Justin would be cooking their menues on stage infront of everyone. The chefs had to make five different dishes that could be on the menu on Steak Restaurant. Christina was the challenge winner, giving her the advantage in the dinner service.
The dinner service started with a surprise. The previously eliminated chefs were brought back to make up the kitchen teams. Christina had her reward be choosing the first person. Her team was Dana, Patrick, Kimmie, and Robyn. Justin’s team was Dana, Brian, Royce, and Clemenza.
The episode ended with Clemenza very hurt that he was the last picked. We last see him fighting with Justin and getting up to leave.
