It’s been a few weeks since the last episode of Hell’s Kitchen 2012. It was put on hold for the Olympics. Now that the athletics are over, Hotel Hell is taking the 8:00-9:00 slot and Hell’s Kitchen will now be on Monday nights at 9:00-10:00. It will no longer be on Tuesdays.

Last episode had Brian Merel eliminated and the remaining chefs joined into one Black Team. It will be interesting to see how the chefs all interact after being on separate teams for so long.

The reward challenge was “Taste it Now Make it.” The chefs had to replicate one of Gordon Ramsay’s dishes by only visual and tasting cues. Dana and Clemenza were paired and went against the grain. Many of their choices were different than the other two groups. It could have been a disaster but they ended up getting it right! I thought that team would win it because I know Clemenza is a super talented chef. For their reward, Dana and Clemenza had a day on the water with jet skis. They had a private beach lunch where Dana revealed that she has a killer figure under the chef jacket. She wore a teeny-tiny bikini and it looked like Clemenza was very appreciative.

The big surprise this episode was at dinner service. Gordon Ramsay announced that they would be facing a new team and brought out the runner ups of the previous seasons. Of course they also happened to be some of the most controversial contestants. The redemption team did a fantastic job. I thought they might take a while to get into the swing of things, but they really showed that they are the pros.

Clemenza had some major problems with scallops. Apparently it’s the only thing he can’t cook. Robyn was having worse issues and ended up unintentionally sabotaging Dana. Gordon Ramsay pulled Dana out to talk to her personally. He urged her to stand up for herself and her station. She took control and rocked it.

Both teams finished an excellent dinner service. The redemption team won for their perfect work. The final six chefs had to nominate two competitors to face Gordon Ramsay and possible elimination. They chose Robyn and Clemenza.

Gordon called up Clemenza to go… back in line! Robyn would be going home.

What do you think of the elimination tonight? Did Robyn deserve to go home?
