Last week on Hell’s Kitchen 2012, Gordon Ramsay switched the teams up by moving Roshni Gurnani onto the Boys Team. She is a very tiny woman but has the personality to hold her own to a bunch of big men. It was an interesting decision to start mixing the teams. Certainly, I think the Red women’s team needs to be divided for everyone’s safety.

The theme of this episode was Mexican cuisine. It was the first time in the history of Hell’s Kitchen that they would be cooking real Mexican food. The first challenge had an upset. Kimmy had her dish chosen over Royce even though she used a flour tortilla. Later that night, Royce was complaining to a very drunk Tiffany that he thought the decision was unfair. Tiffany finished her bottle of wine and thought she would tell Kimmy the gossip.

Unfortunately, Tiffany was totally wasted. She could barely speak coherently and forgot it was Royce who complained to her. Instead she thought that it was Danielle, Dana and Christina who were gossiping. In fact, they were upstairs the whole night and could not have possibly said it. The next morning, Kimmy confronted the three accused and berated them for lying. She refused to accept the truth and Tiffany could not remember what really happened.

Dana made sure to get back at Kimmy during dinner service. Dana had asked her where to put the fish, and Kimmy told her to just put it beside the meat. When this came to Gordon for serving, the meat juices were contaminating the fish on the plate. Gordon Ramsay freaked at this and wanted to know who had mixed the proteins. Dana refused to speak up and Kimmy took the fall.

Meanwhile, Danielle said she was ready for the first entrées. She was on the pork station and sent out raw meat twice. It is very important to cook pork properly for the health of the diner. Gordon was so angry that he punched the pork chop and crushed it. The boys had just as many problems with the raw pork and ended up with only two chefs remaining in the kitchen. Everyone else was kicked out. Roshni and Brian were left to finish dinner service.

This show cannot be good for my stress levels. The girls have so much drama and gossip. I cannot help but think that if the wine was restricted they would be getting along better.
