Reward Challenge
The reward this week was to spend a day in Malibu seeing the sights. The challenge was a tag team cooking contest. Only one member of each team could cook at a time. Each team had to cook one risotto, one lamb dish, and one cod dish. Both teams did horrible jobs.
Reward Results
Both teams lost this reward challenge and no one would receive the Malibu trip. The risotto on both sides stuck to the bottom of the pan, leaving a burnt smokey taste to the rice. Both teams had the challenge punishment which was to clean the entire Hell’s Kitchen compound.
It was not all bad though as Gordon Ramsay surprised both teams. He brought them a dome and inside was a black jacket. After next dinner service, the teams will be combined into one Black Team.
Dinner Service
This late in the season, dinner service should be no problem. Unfortunately they still cannot get their acts together. Robyn in particular had a hard time this episode. She was on garnish station and Gordon Ramsay caught her putting her pans in the oven. The herbs don’t need to be cooked and Gordon confronted her on this mistake. She blamed the Blue Team for telling her to do it except they did no such thing.
The Red Team actually finished this dinner service and went over to help the Blue Team. They had a lot of trouble on getting their beef wellington entrees out. Barbie went over to help Brian on this station and she threw out some perfectly cooked ones. Brian got very upset at her attitude with him.
Elimination
The Red Team won by a mile. Dana, Barbie and Christina were given their black jackets as reward for their great night. The Blue Team had to nominate two people to face Gordon Ramsay and elimination.
They ended up nominating Robyn, Brian, and Clemenza. Gordon told them that because they failed the simple task of only nominating two, all four would be up for elimination.
It was really between Robyn and Brian and Gordon had a surprise decision. Brian was sent home. Robyn, Justin, and Clemenza got their black jackets.
