The CFIA, in conjunction with XL Foods of Alberta Canada, has released yet another recall for ground beef (meat and hamburger) products that may potentially be contaminated with E. coli.
For those of you keeping track, there have been 5 recalls and hundreds of products affected over the past week. You can see a list of all of the recalled products up to September 19 here and you can see a full list of the products recalled on September 20 here.
Today, the CFIA is warning consumers not to consume several other products not listed in the initial recalls. The new products recalled today (September 21, 2012) can be viewed below.
This recall affects additional products sold by Metro and Safeway mostly in Western Canadian provinces.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the recall to date, however, health officials in Alberta are investigating 4 cases of E. coli. The health officials have made it very clear that there is no confirmed connection between the illnesses and the meat products as of yet.
