San Jose, California-based company, LSG Sky Chefs, has issued a recall on over 1,784 pounds of grilled chicken Caesar wraps due to an undeclared ingredient in the dressing. Despite being used in the production of the dressing, egg – a well-known allergen – was not declared on the wrap product label.
The product in question, according to the press release, is the 8” x 4.5” x 2.5” packages of “7-Eleven Fresh to Go Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap” with a “Freshest Before” packaging date of 3/15/2012 through 3/18/2012.
Each package features a label with the establishment number “P-44745” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The products were distributed to 7-Eleven stores in Northern California March 12, 2012 and March 15, 2012 and have a two-day shelf life.
Consumers with questions should contact LSG Sky Chefs’ Consumer Hotline at (800) 255-0711.
