Since it lost its number two position on the list of best burger chains in America, Burger King has been building out its menu with new items in hopes of regaining its runner-up spot on the list. The latest item on the menu? The new bacon sundae, of course.
Yes, you read that correctly, Burger King is unveiling a new sundae that combines the fruitful, sweet flavors of an ice cream sundae with the salty, bitter taste of America’s favorite breakfast item. Sounds delicious, right? Maybe not.
The popular restaurant is launching the bacon sundae in one of their Nashville locations to test consumer response before moving forward with nationwide release.
In addition to the innovative sundae, Burger King has also added several other items to their new menu. Consumers can now enjoy delicious breakfast burritos, fruit smoothies, snack wraps, frappes and fresh garden salads in addition to popular original menu items like Whoppers and chicken burgers.
Something tells me the bacon sundae will fail the Nashville test.
