Banner Mountain Sprouts is voluntarily issuing a recall on their sprouts products after routine testing found traces of salmonella. The following products are being recalled:

4oz. zesty greens
5oz. sprout salad
4oz. clover
2lb. clover
4oz. alfalfa and broccoli mix
4oz. alfalfa sprouts
1lb. & 2 lb. alfalfa sprouts

The spouts in question were distributed in California through both retail stores and wholesale. They come in either a 4 oz. or 5 oz. clamshell container, or in a 1lb. or 2lb. ziptop bag. The sell dates for all recalled products are between June 17th 2012 to July 6th 2012.

No illness have yet been associated with the recalled Banner Mountain sprouts. Salmonella can be a serious health risk. It is a dangerous bacteria that can cause vomiting, fever, and diarrhea. The symptoms start to produce themselves between 1 and 4 days after digestion.
