Last week, River Ranch issued a recall on several of their bagged salad products due to concerns of Listeria monocytogenes. Today, Pacific Coast Fruit Company is also recalling some of their processed bagged salad products because they had utilized a portion of River Ranch products in their retail and food service items.

The specific products listed in the recall – along with UPC codes, item numbers, “Best By” dates and production dates – can be viewed in the chart below. The recalled products were distributed in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska to Fred Meyer, Avanti and Evergreen.

There have been no illnesses associated with the recall to date.

Symptoms of Listeria monocytogenes include high fever, severe headache, nausea, stiffness, abdominal pain and diarrhea. It can also cause serious (and sometimes fatal) illness in children, elderly people and individuals with weak immune systems. Listeria infection can also cause stillbirths and miscarriages among pregnant women.

Concerned consumers can contact Pacific Coast Fruit at 503-234-6411 between 8am and 4:30pm PST Monday through Friday.
