Eco Health Inc, a California-based company, is recalling all of its Prebiotic Baby Formula sold between June 2011 and August 2012 in the sized listed below due to salmonella concerns.
The formula was marketed under the name florAlign Prebiotic Formula and the following three sizes have been recalled:
60 units of the 90 gram PREBIOTIC FORMULA (powder),
40 units of the 180 gram PREBIOTIC FORMULA (powder) and
174 units of the 270 gram PREBIOTIC FORMULA (powder)
Eco Health Inc is stressing to consumers that it is only the Prebiotic formula being recalled, not their Probiotic products.
The Prebiotic formula was distributed in the US nationwide via direct to consumer marketing. The UPC codes of each product are listed below:
90 gram size – UPC FA02-90GM, 180 gram size UPC FA02-180GM, 270 gram size FA02-180GM. According to the press release, “t is a berry flavored powder in a white plastic screw off container and contains a scooper. It is distributed by Eco-Health, Inc. and contains the following address on the label. 25876 The Old Road #158, Newhall, CA 91321. The dates of distribution are between June 2011 – Aug 2012 in the quantities mentioned above.”
No illnesses have been reported.
