Today, October 25th is World Pasta Day. Unlike our “national food days” which are just made up fun events, this is a legitimate food day. In 1995 there was a World Pasta Congress that was held in Rome. The Union of Organizations of Manufacturers of Pasta Products of the European Union, or UN.A.F.P.A, came together to name October 25th “World Pasta Day”. Their goal is to show that pasta is a global food, part of a healthy diet, and a big part of the world economy. We love pasta, so we’re going to enjoy the World Pasta Day!
